Alexis - Rising Senior at Vanderbilt University
Alexis is a rising senior double majoring in Philosophy and Molecular Biology. As the first person in her family to go to college, she was initially unsure of how to navigate choosing a major and originally intended to study biomedical engineering before discovering a passion for helping others and setting out on a pre-med path. Since her freshman year, she has also been heavily involved in research studying antibiotic resistance and recommends those interested in pursuing a science degree get involved in a lab as soon as possible.
Sophie Jabban - Junior at the University of Pennsylvania
Sophie plans to graduate with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry and hopes to apply to medical school after graduation. On campus, she is a peer tutor and volunteers in a cell biology lab researching a mechanism of cancer growth.
Anjali Devgan - Junior at University of Southern California
Anjali is currently studying Health and Human Sciences and Gerontology. She is applying to medical school soon, and in the meantime is a teacher for chemistry and a research assistant in a molecular biology lab. Besides academics, she loves watching USC Trojan football games, volunteering at senior homes, and playing with her two German Shepherd dogs!
Ryan Francis - Junior at University of Missouri - ColumbiA
Ryan is currently studying Fisheries and Wildlife Management with a minor in Captive Wild Animal Management. He hopes to work in exotic conservation one day and his dream job is to work for the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Institute. His inspiration is Steve Irwin, and Ryan hopes to make as big of an impact in Wildlife Conservation as Steve did.

Kevin Zheng is a recent graduate of Computer Science undergrad at the University of Michigan. Previously, he has worked software engineering internships at large technology companies such as Amazon, Facebook, as well as trading firm Jump Trading and startup Correlation One. In August 2020, Kevin will be starting a Software Engineering role focused on augmented reality engineering at Facebook-acquired CTRL-Labs.
Hezekiah Branch - tufts university
Hezekiah Branch is a rising senior at Tufts University with a concentration in Cognitive Brain Science and Minors in Computer Science and Engineering Management. He believes in creating computational approaches to issues faced by marginalized communities including preservation of language, disparities in resource allocation, and equitable strategies for talent recruitment in the tech industry. Hezekiah's background in technology includes research in artificial intelligence, data science, and software engineering. His experience includes companies such as Harvard Graduate School of Education, Prudential Financial, and #FirstFlight with Twitter. At Tufts, Hezekiah is the cofounder of Tufts Black Students in Computer Science, an Africana Peer Leader, and is head of Tufts Black Jumbos, the flagship platform for Black-identifying students at Tufts.
Madeline Rouse - university of southern california
Madeline Rouse is finishing up her second year at the University of Southern California, where she is majoring in Linguistics & Cognitive Science. She has minors in Geospatial Intelligence and Choreography. She works for multiple research centers on campus, as well as serving on the executive board of Alpha Omega Epsilon, the engineering sorority

Meghana is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Bioengineering with a minor in Philosophy. She has enjoyed taking advantage of Penn’s interdisciplinary education to truly expose herself to all aspects of STEAM! Outside of academics, Meghana is involved in a variety of activities. She conducts research studying the mechanics of the heart, writes for an educational magazine for schoolchildren in West Philadelphia and serves as a peer tutor. She is also really passionate about music and performs with Sargam, one of America’s first South Asian fusion music groups, and teaches piano to elementary school students. After college, Meghana plans to attend medical school.
Gillian Minnehan - University of michigan
Gillian is a rising senior from Tampa, Florida, and is majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Music at the University of Michigan. On campus, she is primarily involved with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Michigan, and is serving on the executive board this coming school year. She has also traveled to both Africa and India with SWE to conduct educational outreach camps. Outside of school and SWE, she runs competitively with Michigan's Running Club (MRun). Her professional interests are in embedded systems and autonomous robotics.
Aria Mundy - university of colorado boulder
Aria recently finished her freshman year at CU Boulder. She has always had a passion for STEM, and had the opportunity to intern at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and volunteer with the Teen Science Café program at CU Boulder during high school. These experiences inspired her to pursue studies in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Math. Aria is particularly interested in the aerospace industry, and she is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience at her internship at Northrop Grumman this summer. Aria is on the executive team for the CU chapter of Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA), which brings together individuals with a passion for space exploration who are often underrepresented in the aerospace industry. She is also a BOLD Scholar and a member of the Engineering Honors Program at CU. Aria was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Outside of school, she enjoys biking, skiing, hiking, running, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors. Aria is also a member of the CU Triathlon team.

Andrew wang - university of Pennsylvania
Andrew is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania planning to major in economics. A native of St. Louis, MO, Andrew enjoys following sports, playing poker, and spending time with friends and family. Outside of the classroom, Andrew also plays ultimate frisbee, participates in the sports business club, and helps run the Student Federal Credit Union. Gabija Tonkunas - vanderbilt university
Gabija Tonkunas is an Economics major at Vanderbilt University. She is currently an undergraduate researcher at Vanderbilt's Medical Center working on a National Institutes of Health project concerning genetic and data privacy. She is also working on finance and marketing at Cress Health, a tech startup tackling healthcare worker wellness issues. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball, make handmade pasta, and watch movies.
