The Memphis chapter of the Literacy Initiative is currently looking for students to help set goals, plan out programs, and fundraise for our Memphis chapter! You can view a list of volunteer opportunities below.

Volunteer Opportunities
Program Manager* 1 hour per week. Program Managers will help coordinate programs under the Memphis chapter of the Literacy Initiative. Program Managers will work closely with the Executive Team, Fundraising Coordinators, and Chapter Leaders. Most of the work can be done remotely. Chapter Leader (for Books & Cookies program)** 30 minutes per week + 1 Books & Cookies meeting per week. Chapter Leaders will work with the Executive Team and Program Managers to plan out agendas for upcoming Books & Cookies meetings. Chapter Leaders are required to attend 1 meeting per week. Fundraising Coordinator* Time commitment varies. 10-20 minutes per week + 1 fundraiser per month. Fundraising Coordinators will work with Literacy Initiative sponsors to host various fundraisers at their location. Fundraising Coordinators are required to attend 1 fundraiser each month. Fundraisers are typically between 1-3 hours. |
