Looking to join an organization run by high school students AND has impacted the lives of over 1,000 economically disadvantaged students?
Join us during our information session on Sunday, April 7th* from 11:00-12:00. The info session will be hosted at Whitfield School located at 175 S Mason Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141. The Literacy Initiative is an organization that provide books and school supplies to economically disadvantaged kids through a wide variety of programs. One of our main programs is our Books & Cookies program which is an after-school club where students work with volunteers on various icebreaker and reading activities. During this information session, students will learn more about the Literacy Initiative and our programs. We will specifically focus on discussing our Books & Cookies program for the upcoming school year. Students will also have the opportunity to hear experiences from current volunteers. Snacks will be provided. Please RSVP by filling out the form. *If you are unable to attend the info session on Sunday, April 7th, we have a make-up session on Sunday, April 14th from 5:00-6:00. |
